The Dough Lab is an iOS baking companion designed to guide users through complex bread workflows with built-in timers, fold tracking, and hands-free interactions. The focus was reliability, background execution, and making long fermentation processes easy to manage.

The latest v2 cycle focused on production hardening and UX polish for long-running bake sessions:

  • Hardened timer orchestration across foreground/background state transitions
  • Improved lock-screen and notification consistency after app restarts
  • Refined step-by-step workflow UX for faster, lower-friction sessions
  • Continued CloudKit sync hardening for better offline-first multi-device consistency
